Emily Appleton

Emily is a qualified performing arts educator, dancer, and award-winning choreographer.
She has 15 years experience teaching and creating in primary and secondary schools as well as for her own dance business, the Australian Girls Choir, Canberra Qwire, and DanceKids.
Emily has recently stepped into the role of Production Manager and Director of the ACT Education Directorate’s suite of arts events including the Step into the Limelight Gala Showcase.
Emily was delighted to dance captain and perform in Dramatic Productions’ West Side Story (2023) after a long break. She previously co-choreographed the Canberra Philharmonic Society’s Chicago (2017), and performed in Rock of Ages (2016) and Cabaret (2014).
