Two awards at the 2024 Canberra Critics Circle Awards

On Tuesday 12 November we were delighted to receive a 2024 Canberra Critics Circle award in the category of Musical Theatre for our production of Billy Elliot, The Musical.

Congrats to our producer Anne Somes and to Director Jarrad West, choreographer Michelle Heine, Musical Directors Caleb Campbell and Katrina Tang and to the entire cast, creatives and crew for our “exuberant production of this demanding musical.”

Yay us!

We were also tickled pink for Amy Kowalczuk who received a 2024 Canberra Critics Circle award for her “incisive, sensitive and powerful performance as Blanche DuBois in Free-Rain Theatre Company’s production of A Streetcar Named Desire.”
